What Types of Tree Survey Are Available in Hyde?
Hyde properties use three survey types: Tree Condition Reports for general health assessment, Mortgage Tree Reports for lender requirements, and BS5837 surveys for planning applications.
Tree Condition Reports (TCR)
A Tree Condition Report assesses the health, structural stability and safety of individual trees. Homeowners, landlords and insurers request the report to identify risk before storm damage or subsidence occurs.
Mortgage Tree Reports (MTR)
A Mortgage Tree Report becomes required when a lender's valuer identifies trees within influencing distance of the property. The report satisfies major UK lender requirements before completion.
BS5837 Tree Surveys
A BS5837 survey categorises every tree on site by quality and value, sets root protection areas and produces a tree constraints plan. Tameside Council requires this survey for planning applications affecting trees.
